TWIN!

met twin on a friday.
went back to stc to collect our certs.
HAHA. it was long due for collection though.
studied in the library. I miss STC. I REALLY DO!

HAHA. caught up with shan and stuff.
i realised that we're really kinda similar.
AT LEAST, we aren't that socially receptive about inter-racial marriages
we wouldnt mind having spounses of different race.

we were talking about inter-racial marriages at dinner. my sister shared my thoughts on such marriages.

mummy: you gotta choose properly.
sister: so you think so easy huh. like shopping for groceries, everything displayed on the shelf?
mummy: ya.
me: then what if they are hidden behind?
mummy: then don't choose those la!
me: but those at the back have longer shelf life yknow. they all have expiry dates.

my parents are really traditional. They aren't racists. but they just don't think well of such marriages. I think there's a serious social problem. look around, there arent many halal places to eat. they do not cater to the needs of all the people. It's inconvenient and difficult. But why aren't we doing anything? it's just plain unfair. I believe my parents aren't the only ones who think that way too. I think it's a big social problem that people do not accept such ways.

It's said that Singapore has the many inter-racial marriages. But why are some citizens still so receptive and unforgiving with such an issue? I think it's sad.

haha. and shan and i wanna have a site which sells things that we make.
i like designing. i like making things.
but i guess everything's just gotta wait.
